Marist Volleyball Campers will be exposed to new techniques and tactics to help improve their game in a positive learning environment. Both our Elite Camp and Skills Clinic are open to athletes of all skill levels, based on age requirements. The ELITE CAMP will include more advanced technical and tactical training in addition to fundamentals. This camp will feature position training as well as competitive drill situations for the more experienced player. Players will be housed on campus, and meals will be provided. The SKILLS CLINIC will focus on performing individual skills with correct technique consistently. Each of the primary skills will be taught, with ball control being a major area of emphasis.
In 2016, Marist earned the no. 2 seed and a first-round bye in the MAAC Championships for the second straight season. The Red Foxes finished with a 13-17 overall record that included 12-6 in conference play. They celebrated two major MAAC Award winners in Lexi Millington (Co-Libero of the Year) and Megan Fergus (Rookie of the Year), in addition to eight players named to the All-Academic Team.
