Refund Policy

No refunds. You can cancel up to 3 business days prior for full refund minus processing fees with purchase of the cancellation insurance.

What is the cancellation/refund policy?

There are no refunds. However, with purchase of Cancellation Insurance you can cancel up to 3 business days prior to the event!

How much is day camp?

Day Camp is $225/camper. If you register for both sessions, receive $15 off of the second session with discount code: SAVE15.

Register by May 1st to receive the discounted Early Bird Special price of $210!

Elite Camp is $50/camper.

What time is check-in?

On the first day of camp, (July 8 for Session I & July 15 for Session II), check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. just inside the entrance to SEFCU Arena (Please enter SEFCU Arena from the entrances beside the football stadium).

On the days following (July 8 and July 15), campers may begin to arrive at 9:15a.m. Camp will begin each day promptly at 9:30a.m. on the main floor and end there at 3:30 p.m.

We offer pre-care and after-care for those that need extended child care outside of the camp hours. Pre-care will be from 8:30-9:30a.m. and post-care will be from 3:30-4:30p.m. Each session of care costs an additional $15.00. For both sessions of care, receive a discounted rate of $25.00 with Discount Code: CARE.

Parking is free in the SEFCU Arena lot in front of SEFCU Arena on the days of camp. Parents are welcome to stay at watch and any point during camp.

Do you offer extended care outside of camp hours?

How do I reserve a spot for camp?

All participants must register for camp online through our website. Registration for our 2019 camp sessions is open NOW!

Can my camper attend both sessions?

Yes! If you register for both sessions, receive $25 off of the second session with discount code: SAVE25.

What forms are required for my child to attend camp?

When you register for camp, you will complete the Coach Mullen Camps Insurance Waiver electronically. Completion and signature of this form is required to attend camp.

What should I bring?

Campers should dress comfortably each day in shorts, t-shirt and proper basketball or tennis shoes. Water will be provided. You are also encouraged to bring a water bottle or sports drink if you would like. Lunch is not provided, you are also encouraged to bring money to use for snacks at the camp store.

Is Lunch Provided?

No, lunch is not provided at camp. You are encouraged to purchase a Camp Store Card that can be used to purchase snacks. Snacks include; drinks, pizza, chips, candy, fruit and other assorted items.

You may purchase a Camp Store Card with a $25 value for only $20 if you purchase during the registration process!

You may also bring your own lunch.

What is the Camp Store Card?

A Camp Store Card allows your child to purchase snacks at the camp store without having to keep up with cash or check throughout the day. You are able to pre-load this card before camp for your child. If you purchase during the registration process, receive $25 on the card for only $20!

What is a typical schedule for camp?

A typical schedule might look like this (this is not the set schedule for this year’s camp, only an example):

9:30 a.m. – Roll Call
9:45 a.m. – Warm ups: ball handling, defensive stance
10:00 a.m. – Stations led by UAlbany Coaching Staff & Players
11:00 a.m. – Water Break
11:15 a.m. – Team Practice
11:30 a.m. – Games
12:00 p.m. – Lunch
1 p.m. – Roll Call
1:10 p.m. – Great Dane Shootout (and other games)
1:30 p.m. – Water Break
1:45 p.m. – Games
3:15 p.m. – Back to Main Court for Closing

Where can I park on the days of camp?

Parking is free in the SEFCU Arena lot in front of SEFCU Arena on the days of camp. Parents are welcome to stay at watch and any point during camp.

Do you have any overnight camps?

No, we do not have any overnight camps available. The day camp is the only camp that we hold for girls grades rising 2nd to rising 8th. If you are traveling from out of town and need lodging, we recommend visiting the lodging page at www.albany.com/lodging/. The Courtyard Albany Thruway, Residence Inn Albany Area and Hilton Garden Inn are all located within 2 miles of SEFCU Arena, and many others are a short distance as well.

What kind of medical care is available?

Certified athletic trainers are on site throughout camp. Please be sure to include any information that will be important for them in the allergies/special medical needs section. If medication needs to be given, or there is a special circumstance our medical staff needs to be aware of, you will be able to meet with an athletic trainer the morning of check-in.

What if my daughter needs to leave early?

All campers are expected to stay on the premises for the duration of camp. If you have a special situation where your daughter will arrive late or will need to be picked up early, please let our camp director and staff know so proper arrangements can be made.

What if my daughter has a food allergy?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate any allergies or special dietary concerns. Campers with food allergies or restrictions should bring their own lunch each day.

Are boys able to attend camp?

Because our program is the UAlbany Women’s Basketball program, we hold camps and clinics for girls. We encourage any boys who are interested in UAlbany basketball to attend one of Will Brown’s Basketball Camps.

Are there any discounts if my child refers this camp to a teammate?

“Yes, if your child brings a teammate to the Day Camp, the teammate can receive $25 off their camp rate with discount code: TEAMMATE . If your child brings a teammate to the Elite Camp, the teammate will receive $15 off their camp rate with discount code: TEAMMATE.
