There are no refunds given in a WSU Swimming camp or clinic.
Yes and no. We will not be doing individual swim analysis on each swimmer with commentary on their technique. We will be using our four underwater cameras throughout the duration of camp during our sessions in the water with our stations and groups.
With this being our first year - and being the only camp offered in the Pacific Northwest - we cannot be 100% certain on what our coach to camper ratio will be. However, we will have our coaching staff and some of our collegiate swimmers to assist in skill instruction. Our coaching staff has camp experience from LSU, Wyoming, NC State, Butler, Indiana State, and many others. There is nothing that our staff cannot handle.
Absolutely!! Our staff would be more than happy to accommodate athletes wishing to room with one another. When registering for a camp you can enter the desired roommate into the text box. If you have any issues please contact Russell Whitaker.
Yes - Global Scholars is a Co-Ed dorm. Campers must be roommates with someone of the same gender. Rooming is dependent on WSU Residence services - but we hope to have the rooms divided (Boys on one side - Girls on the other). Bathrooms/showers are gender specific.
To ensure safety and compliance with camp rules - our staff will be rooming in the dorms as well and will have a staff member present in the dorms at all times when campers are present. For any further questions please contact Russell Whitaker.
