Skills and Drills Camp

(click on Events or go back to the home page to Register Now)

Our Skills and Drills camp is designed for all wrestlers grades 5-12 regardless of experience level. Campers will learn wrestling skills in all three areas (neutral, top, bottom). We have designed a curriculum to teach the skills needed to become a great middle or high school wrestler. Campers will be grouped based on experience to insure they can learn at their own pace. Each day campers will have three technique sessions. For those campers looking for some hard-nosed wrestling, additional mat time will be provided during the VT wrestling workout. Each day will have at least one recreational activity.

30 Man Training Camps

Our 30 Man Training Camps are designed for those wrestlers who are very serious about the sport and are committed to the training and lifestyle necessary to succeed at the highest level. Campers will train and learn in groups of approximately 30 to insure they receive the individual attention necessary to make gains. In the afternoon hard wrestling sessions, campers will come together with members of the Virginia Tech wrestling team and train alongside many of VT’s top-ranked and All-American wrestlers. Overall, campers will experience a typical week of training for a Division I wrestler. Wrestlers who consider this camp should recognize that they are in a training environment that will challenge their mental toughness, physical conditioning and wrestling abilities. Campers are advised to show up in great physical shape.
