Head Coach
Enrique Rodriguez

Georgia Southwestern State University athletic director Mike Leeder has hired Enrique Rodriguez to be the school's next head women's soccer coach. Rodriguez comes to Georgia Southwestern from the University of Georgia where he served as a volunteer coach on the women's soccer staff since January 2015.

In his first season coaching at UGA Rodriguez worked primarily with video scout coordination, a role that helped the Bulldogs earn two wins over top-20 ranked competition. Georgia advanced to the 2015 Southeastern Conference Tournament for the 17thtime in school history and earned a win against No. 4 Texas A&M, marking the highest-ranked team a UGA squad has ever defeated.

Rodriguez was brought on staff at UGA after serving as the assistant coach for the women's team at The Citadel from 2008-15. Rodriguez was the international recruit coordinator and goalkeeper coach for the Bulldogs. He also served as the head coach of the men's club soccer team from 2010-14 while at The Citadel.

Rodriguez also has an extensive career on the prep level, serving as the head coach of the men's varsity teams at the Porter Gaud and Pinewood Preparatory Schools in Charleston, S.C., finishing as the state runner-up for three consecutive seasons at Pinewood from 2011-13.

Rodriguez earned his degree in Architecture from La Salle University at the Bogota campus in Colombia in 2000. Rodriguez played collegiately while studying in Bogota, where La Salle reached the College Tournament finals in 2000. He holds a USSF National "D" License.

Assistant Coach
Katie Roberts

Katie Roberts joins the Georgia Southwestern State women’s soccer staff as an assistant coach in August of 2018. She comes to GSW after serving as an assistant coach at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, where she helped coach a 17-4 team that consisted of one All-American player.

Prior to St. Joseph, Roberts was a volunteer coach at High Point University where she was responsible for working with the HPU forwards. She also assisted with all aspects of the program including planning training sessions, film breakdown, assisting with game-day operations and the Fit for 90 athlete wellness monitoring system.

Roberts, a native of Lodi, Ohio, was a four-year letter winner at the University at Buffalo and was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2014. Over four years with the Bulls, Roberts played in 79 games with 60 starts and notched 53 points on 23 goals and seven assists. She was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team after leading the team in goals and assists in 2011 and led the team to a MAC Championship as a senior with 12 goals and three assists in 22 games.

Head Athletic Trainer
Shannon Greene

Georgia Southwestern State University athletics announced the hiring of Shannon Greene as head athletic trainer for the 2017-18 school year.

Greene, ATC, finished her third year at Columbus State University and her first as an assistant athletic trainer during the 2016-2017 school year after spending the previous two years working as a graduate assistant. She worked with the CSU tennis teams and the Lady Cougars soccer team during the year.

She joined the Columbus State staff after receiving her bachelor's of science in athletic training from the University of South Florida. At USF she gained experience across the athletic spectrum, working with men's and women's soccer, volleyball, cross country and track. Greene also worked with three area high schools.

Greene graduated with her master's degree in Public Administration from Columbus State in May of 2016.
