About Our Program

The Fairmont State Women's Soccer Program was started in 2014. The program served its first year as a club team before entering the Mountain East Conference and full NCAA DII member for the 2015 season.

Coach Heembrock took over as the Head Women's Soccer Coach in January 2017 and has led the Falcon Soccer Program to its most successful season in 2018. After going 2-14-2 and 2-12-4 in their first two seasons, the Women's Soccer program finished Coach Heembrock's first season with a 5-7-6 mark and his second year with a 8-6-4. The 2018 season saw our staff’s first true recruiting class, a record of 8-6-4, and multiple program records, all while starting 7 Freshman, 3 Sophomore’s and 1 Junior.

Now that a foundation has been set, it is time to raise the bar, push our current student athletes, and recruit top quality athletes and students into our program. The program includes players from 3 different countries and 6 different states. The program also includes our most important player, which we have drafted from Team Impact, a non profit organization that matches young children with life threatening or chronic illness with a College athletic team. It is with great pride that our program is able to have such an inspirational person as a member of our Family.

Whether it's our top notch Academic Programs, with over 90 Bachelor Degree's offered, our great soccer program with a very bright future, or the life lessons that you will learn through things, such as our Team Impact initiative, there is no better time to attend Fairmont State and be a Fighting Falcon!
