Camp Testimonials

“Attending the University of Charleston baseball camp last fall provided me with the exposure I needed to become a NCAA Division II baseball player. It was not only an excellent opportunity to be seen by the UC staff, but other college coaches as well. Now that I am a member of the team at the University of Charleston I don't think that any other program would have been a better choice. If you decided to come to a University of Charleston baseball camp you will encounter a great group of coaches who know the game of baseball, and who are willing to teach you things to improve your game dramatically.”

"Going to the University of Charleston baseball camps is one of the best opportunities any player can get. When I attended one of the camps my senior year of high school it gave me great exposure to the staff here at UC, which led me to becoming a Divison II pitcher. Being a member of the UC baseball program is probably one of the best experiences anyone can have. The coaching staff we have is one of the best in the country. They make sure everybody is bettering themselves daily not only on the diamond, but also outside of baseball. I can promise if anyone decides to come to any of the camps you'll know you made the right decision and will leave a better player than before."

"When I came to the University of Charleston and attended their fall showcase I knew right away that if I was offered a spot, I wanted to be a part of their program. The camp provided with the opportunity to showcase my skills as a pitcher in front of a coaching staff that I wanted to play for. The coaches at the University of Charleston not only make you a better player, but a better person by putting us in situations to help out the community. So, as a former camp attendee I highly recommend the fall showcase to high school athletes who want to become members of a championship program on and off the field!"

“Going into my senior year I came to a baseball showcase camp at the University of Charleston. I wasn’t getting many offers for baseball at that point and I was really looking for an opportunity. It was like God was watching over me the day of the camp, because I had a good try out at the camp. I ended up getting asked to come on a visit at a later date, where I fell in-love with the UC baseball program and what the coaches wanted to do. In my experience at the University of Charleston, the coaching staff didn’t just talk about baseball, they taught me how to be better person and prepared me for a life after baseball. I am extremely glad I chose to attend the University of Charleston, and I am grateful for the opportunity that my camp performance provided me with. I enjoyed my time at UC as a member of their championship baseball program and I never would have had the chance to enjoy that experience if I didn’t attend their camp.”
