Residential Camp FAQ

HOW BIG IS THE CAMP?
We will have a MAXIMUM of 64 field players and 8 goalkeepers.

WHAT IS THE AGE RANGE FOR THE CAMP?
The camp is designed for players ages 14-18 (Freshmen-Seniors).

CAN I SIGN UP WITH MY ENTIRE TEAM?
Yes. If there are 10 or more players signing up for the same team we can train you as a group. We will talk to your coach to design a training program specific to the needs of your team.

IS THERE A DISCOUNT IF WE REGISTER AS A TEAM?
Yes. There is a $35 discount for each player if your team registers for 10 or more players.

IS THERE A DEADLINE TO REGISTER?
There is no deadline but we have very limited spaces available so we suggest that you register early. We will continue taking applications until the camp is full.

WILL CAMPERS BE SUPERVISED THROUGHOUT THE DAY?
Campers are fully chaperoned throughout the day. A staff member will walk each group from the dormitory to the fields and to meals.

IS THERE A CERTIFIED MEDICAL TRAINER ON STAFF?
Yes. There will be a certified trainer at all training sessions and games.

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY REGISTRATION?
There is a $100 nonrefundable administration fee on every registration. Any cancellations made within one week of the camp will result in no refund, but you can receive a credit that can be used towards and future Canisius Soccer Camps.

MAY I DRIVE MYSELF TO CAMP AND IS THERE A PARKING FEE?
There is no charge for parking, but car keys will be taken from the camper after registration and returned when the camp finishes.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO PLAY AND COMPETE?
You will receive all this information in your confirmation letter.

IS THERE A CAMP STORE?
Yes. We will have a camp store with pizza, snacks, drinks, and Canisius soccer merchandise for sale.

DO YOU PROVIDE AN AIRPORT SHUTTLE?
Yes. A $25 service fee will need to be paid prior to the camp starting.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR CAMP?
Use the "Register Now" button available on the HOME page to sign up for camp.

CAN I PAY ONLINE FOR CAMP WITH A CREDIT CARD?
YES. You can pay for our camp online with any major credit card.

CAN I PAY WITH A PERSONAL CHECK VIA THE MAIL?
Yes.  Please fill out and print the registration page then scan/email the information to mcgraned@canisius.edu and send a check made payable to Canisius Soccer Camps at the following address:

CAN I PAY A DEPOSIT?
The minimum deposit is $150 and the full balance must be paid by July 1. Any payments after July 1 must be cash or money order. If you want to send a deposit- please follow the same steps as paying by checks listed in the previous FAQ.

WILL A CONFIRMATION LETTER BE SENT FOLLOWING REGISTRATION?
Yes. A confirmation letter will be sent immediately following registration. The letter will contain a list of essential items that each camper will need. It will also detail drop off/pick up times and locations.

WHERE DO CAMPERS STAY?
Campers stay in one of the Canisius College dorms. Our staff members will also be staying/supervising in the dorms.

CAN I REQUEST A ROOMMATE?
Yes. Once you have registered send an email to Coach McGrane: mcgraned@canisius.du with any roommate requests.
