About our Program

Biola’s Aquatics Staff is made up of professionally trained swim instructors and lifeguards who want to share their love of swimming with children. Our lifeguards, many of whom double as instructors, are all actively certified in CPR, AED and First-Aid through the Red Cross.

Private Lessons:
Our private lessons are conducted with a ratio of one child per instructor. This ratio allows for specific, personalized instruction for your children. Whether they have never been in a pool before or are looking for more advanced stroke-refinement, our private lessons can be tailored for your child’s specific needs. Our private lessons run in two-week sessions, with classes Monday-Thursday for 25 minutes. Time slots are available every half hour from 7:30am-12:30pm and 3pm-7pm. The cost of one session of private lessons, which includes a total of 8 one-on-one lessons, is $150.00.

Group Lessons
Our group lessons are conducted with a maximum ratio of five children per instructor. This small-scale group is great for families with multiple children who are of similar skill levels, children who have friends that are also enrolling in the swim program, or kids who enjoy working in group settings.  Our group lessons are tailored to your child’s needs through our level system. We currently offer group lessons for swim levels 1 through 3. These lessons run in two-week sessions, with classes Monday-Thursday for 25 minutes. Time slots are available every hour from 8am-1pm and 3pm-5pm. The cost of one session of group lessons, which includes a total of 8 classes, is $60.00.For more information about each level’s criteria, please contact the Aquatics office. We would love to help your child find the right group lesson for their needs.
