FAQs
What is the Prospect Camp format?

The camp will consist of a pro-style workout including 60-yard dash, throws from the outfield, throws from the infield, catcher pop times, and double play turns for infielders. There will be a full batting practice and scrimmage game where players will get to put their skills to work in a live game format. Pitchers will have a chance to face live hitters in-game.

What will be provided at the Prospect Camp?

Campers will receive a camp t-shirt, lunch, and an opportunity for a campus tour and full Q&A sessions with the Head Coach at the end of the day. They will also receive hands-on instruction and feedback from the Biola coaching staff throughout the camp.

During the Prospect Camps, what if I play multiple positions?

Campers will work-out at their primary position, with potential options to develop at other positions as well. 2-way players will pay as position players but will be given a chance to throw a bullpen or pitch live in-game. In the live game, campers will get to play multiple positions to work on their versatility if they so choose.

How does Biola'a recruiting process work? Will this give me the best chance to be recruited?

As a coaching staff, we are very hand-on during camps. We help develop the talent of ballplayers, and the character of all campers.
