General Information

The Developmental Baseball Camp offers both a overnight option and commuter option. Players will be instructed in all phases of the game of baseball. Games will be played each day with emphasis on the instruction taught during the camp. The 11-15 year old age group is a critical period in a players development. The skills developed during these years will serve as the foundation for future development in high school and beyond. Players will leave this camp with techniques to help develop their skills to the next level and begin the process of maximizing their potential.

Players Receive:
*4 days of Elite Professional Instruction
*Opportunity to learn from and be evaluated by the UVa coaching staff

Session Dates and Times:
July 8th - Registration 2:00-5:00pm
Instruction - 6:00-9:00pm
July 9th - 9:00am-9:00pm
July 10th - 9:00am-9:00pm
July 11th - 9:00am-12:00pm

Players will be grouped age appropriately.

Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, cleats/spikes, hat and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear. Helmets will be provided if a player does not have his own. Every camper in attendance will be given a UVa Baseball dri-fit to be worn during the camp. However, all campers must bring their own baseball pants. The University of Virginia Baseball Program and Atlantic Coast Camps will not be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Overnight Option:
Players that choose the overnight option will reside in air conditioned residence halls normally occupied by undergraduates and graduates of the University. The dorm rooms are suites, 4 to 6 players to each suite. Please email Coach Roberts at mikeroberts@virginia.edu if you would like to request a roommate. All meals are provided for overnight campers and will be catered to the camp.

Commuter Option:
Players that choose the commuter option are responsible for their own accommodations while attending the camp. Lunch and dinner will be provided during the camp and catered to the camp. Refund Policy:
After receipt of the application, refunds will be honored with a credit toward a future camp due to accident or injury. The credit will be full with the exception of $100, which is needed to cover expenses prepaid by Atlantic Coast Camps. Scheduling conflicts are not cause for credit toward future camps. Refunds may be requested and will be rewarded on a case by case basis.

Location

The Developmental Baseball Camp will take place on the grounds of the University of Virginia, utilizing the facilities at Davenport Field, The Park and other facilities on grounds.
